I started eating this cake & thought this definitely needs a good review! We visit this cafe each time we’re on holiday, always delicious food, savoury or sweet, well made coffee, friendly staff & a lively atmosphere - and the carrot cake is absolutely delicious!!

Was taken here to lunch, fantastic little cafe tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets of Bridport. Positives; * Good proficient menu, a particularly the breakfast just enough options without going overboard. *Served by a young man who seemed mildly clueless in the classic manner of teenage boys, but who was nonetheless efficient, helpful and polite. Followed my instructions beautifully *everything was clearly cooked to order * Serious yum sandwich, nice big hunk of bread and generous filling one happy customer. * clean and bright and airy inside. Negatives;- *Awkward little step as you come in and out nearly had a poor elderly lady come a cropper. * And the radio could do with being turned down a touch just to keep the calm and relaxed vibes coming. (I’m kinda scraping the barrel though to find the negatives tbh)

Just had another fabulous breakfast with my husband. Salmon and scrambled eggs were superb! Staff friendly and welcoming as always, making a point of chatting to every customer...... even the teenage lad serving today. We'll definitely visit again. If you're ever in the vicinity you must give them a try.... but be prepared to wait for a table.

The BEST dark chocolate hot choc!! Friendly service. It makes a nice change to have table service for coffees etc. Tuesday coffee time was relatively quiet. I'll be back !!

Visited today for a late lunch and every thing was first class. Loved the bubble and squeak and bacon and great coffee as well. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff really great cafe Thank you

Found by chance when perusing the menu of a more expensive establishment. Inside was too busy for nine of us but in the small yet quaint courtyard we managed to shuffle a few tables together to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced... the pot of tea was enormous and required a strong arm to lift and pour! The staff were very friendly especially one gentleman in particular who instigated much banter. Would definitely visit again... highly recommended.
